We support our batsmen when they go through a bad patch.
We say “Form is temporary … class is permanent“.
We hope they will soon be back with a great innings.
We only forget the above when a certain Sourav Ganguly enters a bad patch.
We start doubting his capabilities if he fails in two consecutive matches.
We are not happy even if he scores runs and try hard to search flaws.
We think even the groundsmen at CCFC have contributed towards our World Cup win, but not this man.
But this adamant, never say die man always proves us wrong.
We hate his comebacks.
We hate his determination.
We hate his class.
And we hate saying –
“This man might not be the best batsman, the best bowler … but he is a true fighter … a born leader … a real inspiration“

Sourav Ganguly made his IPL 4 comeback playing for Pune Warriors India against Deccan Chargers at Hyderabad.
Batting at number 3 he made a run a ball unbeaten 32 hitting 3 fours and a six.

He is real fighter and has proved it several times.Earlier team India not used to show their aggression who tame them on field but Dada taught us how to give reply Flintof and team Australia in their soil.I salute your determination & dedication.keep it up…
Yes Dada needs to appreciated for his determination and come back skills. I am truely inspired by his emotional performance for old times sake. We should give him his due credit. But time has come to groom youngsters, so one has to give way….IPL is unofficial forum so he can even play upto to the age of 50. Kudos
i am not a huge cricket fan but even then when i feel frustrated sourav acts as an inspiration for me.
I guess passion can outwork talents. It’s nice to see his heart prevail.
Great player! I haven’t been to India yet but when I do i’ll make sure there’s some cricket to watch. I just missed out on the NZ V Sri Lanka test series when I visited there a couple of years ago, very disappointing!
I would love to go to an IPL game, I was brought up around cricket so to see all the best players in one league is pretty amazing stuff!
